Former New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram has signed on as a commentator for FOX for college football.
Ingram, who starred at Alabama before joining the Saints then the Ravens and then New Orleans again, will star on the network’s college coverage team.
“I can’t wait to feel the energy and excitement every Saturday, alongside some of the most talented and entertaining names in our sport, at the biggest games in college football,” he said in a statement.
Ingram, 33, was a first round pick (28th overall) in the 2011 draft.
Saints coach Dennis Allen is turning the offense over to former Raiders signal caller Derek Carr, whom he coached in Oakland. Ingram, who was falling down the depth chart, figured his time was up in the locker room and jumped to the broadcast booth.
