Netflix is cracking down on password sharing as a way to boost their subscriber count. The streaming service has estimated that more than 100 million Netflix viewers are watching with borrowed passwords from friends and family members.

As the year goes on, Netflix will soon ask people who share accounts to start paying for a subscription, the company said.
